Lady Lions Fall in Straight Sets to Carlow
Penn State New Kensington Volleyball (1-5) fell in straight sets to host Carlow University (7-2) three sets to none (1-25, 2-25, 18-25) on Thursday night in Pittsburgh.
After a rough outing in the first two sets, the Lady Lions picked up the pace led by Sophomore Setter Thamy Ferreira with 4 service points. Kensey Knapp also helped to tighten the 3rd set with 3 blocks and a kill.
The New Ken Lady Lions are back in action on Friday, September 21st for their home opener against Penn State DuBois. First serve is slated for 7 p.m.
