Women's Volleyball goes 1-3 on Weekend Road Trip
The Penn State New Kensington women's volleyball team had a rough time out east this weekend, returning home with a 1-3 record on the road trip. On Saturday, the team lost to both Penn State Mont Alto and Penn State York in straight sets. The Lady Lions were able to turn it around on Sunday by using a string of service aces from Melissa Daugherty and Jordan Miller to beat Penn State Schuylkill in straight sets, but then lost in straight sets to Penn State Brandywine to finish the road trip. This weekend's games give the team a conference record of 2-4 and an overall record of 3-10. The Lady Lions return to action this Tuesday, October 2nd at Penn State Beaver. Game starts at 7 p.m.
