Penn State New Kensington volleyball hosted its second PSUAC contest of the season but came up short against visiting Penn State Du Bois, falling in straight sets. Du Bois' balanced attack and serving pressure set the tone as they secured the road victory.
The visitors hit an impressive .512 as a team, led by Natalie Bowser with 10 kills on a .692 hitting percentage and Emily Silvis, who added 4 kills, 4 service aces, and 17 digs.
For New Kensington, Emily Blatnick provided a spark offensively with 6 kills on a perfect 1.000 hitting percentage. Setter Emily Lewandowski contributed 7 assists, 2 service aces, and 7 points overall, while Vada Allen added 3 kills, 8 assists, and 12 digs.
