Mont Alto, PA- Penn State New Kensington edged Penn State Mont Alto 34 to 32 in the first half. However Mont Alto exploded in the second half scoring 55 points to take the John Benchoff Championship 87-51. Dorian Broadwater snapped his double-double streak at two, but still led all scorers with 21 points and 7 rebounds. Jordan Williams, Antonio Hill, and Lou Payne all scored in double figures. Mont Alto had four players in double figures, with Theo Remy leading the way with 19 points.
Penn State New Kensington (2-1) will travel to Chathnam University this Tuesday for a 7:30 PM tip-off.
